i've run at least 6 HM in the last 3 years within the 1h15-1h16 range, holding a PB of 74'50" (in perfect weather / pacing conditions). 10k PB is 33'45" but normally I run between 34'00 - 34'30.
this year I am doing my best to achieve the next level and reach the 1h13'XX
however I haven't raced since last october and that was a hilly race where the time doesn't say much.
currently running ~ 50-55 miles per week and today completed for the 1st time this workout: 5 x Mile with a 400m jog between each. I was able to average 5'20" for those (jog ~ 2'30").
some of my other key workouts are:
5 Miles ~ 28'30", 6' Jog and 3 x 1000m w/60s @ 3'20"
10 miles ~ 60'00 (running 5'35" for the last mile)
race is only in two months and I will be increasing my mileage for the next weeks up to roughly 70.
