What meet will this be? The Armory schedule doesn't seem to have any that make sense?

As a coincidence, there is a thread on let's run right now talking about how tough it is to break 4 solo. These guys are all running going to be running solo more than likely, way ahead of the rest of the teams. If they can scare 16, more power to 'em!
This is what the sport needs. Stuff like this. Will it be live streamed?

I still don't really understand what meet this could possibly be at, considering the only meets at the Armory this weekend are college meets and some women-only meet as per the schedule I linked above.
I'm curious because I'm actually competing there this weekend so I'd like to know if a world record attempt was going on. I sent a message to the Armory staff via their 'contact us' form to confirm.
Don't know. But if Merber says so, it must be on. That's his turf. Maybe it has been added to the college meet as a last minute thing. Nothing says a pro team can't run in a college meet provided it isn't an NCAA Championship or Conf Meet.
Do we have an update about this attempt?
I don't know the time it goes off but it's on for Friday. It's a definite go. I hope flotrack or somebody gets word. I'd love to watch it.

How do you know it's on Friday? Are they making this part of the Artie O'Connor Invite then which is 3-10pm Friday? The schedule online for that meet doesn't mention anything about a 4xmile relay:

Let's just say my source is 100% accutate about Friday being the day. They're running against a couple pro teams. My guess is that it may be added to the beginning or end of one of the college meets. To be ratified, it has to be part of an official meet.
If they leave off Gregorek, that makes it risky.

Well if they're adding it to Artie O'Connor, I'll be there and can give updates. Would be nice to know who your source is, Merb just said it in the video so it's not like this is supposed to be some big secret.

That's nice, but do any of you guys have a source? Would love to announce this to my team but not without at least a name.
I just got wind of the race going off at 7:00 at the O'Connor meet. World record goin downnnnn!!!!
Here goes. Running alone is normally a bitch. These dudes will be far out in front all by themselves. But these guys are not normal.
These guys are a cut above. They love time trialing!
Cabral 4:01.5
Palmer 3:59.0
Alexander 3:57.0
Merber 3:57.0
World Record 15:54.50
That breaks the indoor WR and is also actually faster than the outdoor American Record. I've been looking around and can only see a few sub 16 times ever. Maybe only 3 or 4? All outdoor.
I'm wondering if it will be these 4 (Cabral, Palmer, Alexander, and Merber) or if they will stick Gregorek in there?
Does anyone have a top 5 or top 10 list for fastest times ever run? I'll bet sub 16 has only been done less than 5 times world wide. I can only find 2.
