Texas A&M may have lost Donavan Brazier last year, but it looks like they just found a new 800-meter phenom. Ladies and gentlemen, meet sophomore Jazmine Fray, who just broke Nicole Cook's 2005 collegiate record of 2:00.75 by running 2:00.69 at Clemson today.
Fray's PR was "only" 2:03.25 coming in but she totally crushed it today thanks to some rabbiting by Clemson alum Natoya Goule.
What a run. With Fray and Oregon's Raevyn Rogers, two of the three NCAA women to break 2:01 indoors are currently active and should race at NCAAs next month.
