Kind of pointless to VDOT it. Andrews ran his last 100 crazy fast and obviously was fit to go way faster.

So why didn't he? Ohhhh, that's right. Never mind. Ever have a favorite song that gets played on the radio so much that you can't stand to hear it anymore? Total waste of talent.

Pretty much
he's a kicker and a racer, not a time trialer. I don't see a 2:21 1k in January to be anything but a good thing.
He looked supreme. Absolutely floored the last 150.
not too much to be gleaned from a Robby Andrews 1000

He is a killer at the distance.

Irrelevant to VDOT'ing it being idiotic. It only makes sense when a race is close to all out, and even then a bit pointless but let stupid.
Nobody with an IQ above 90 or who isn't a scumbag would call him a waste of talent.

Suuuuuch a tough guy. Any chance you could rewrite/translate your two paragraphs into English to make them able to be comprehend? The "IQ above 90" comment seems somewhat ironic about now...

Me no comprehended you....
*comprehended
Phone corrrected it, Tarzan. My mistake for not proofreading, however.
2:21 is solid but I have seen numerous college athletes not at Robby's caliber run that time. I was really bummed seeing him get DQ'd at the Olympics. Hope he gets better at time trailing and develops better racing tactics.
Worth 4:01.48/1:48.97 per IAAF, the gold standard.

I'm really confused about how a 2:07 is equivalent to a 15:32 5k. Also a 2:28 marathon? Anyone can explain this
