Bear with me... I run in Luna sandals, generally I'm on pavements so I use them for a bit of protection and they keep my feet strong and cool.
I thought I would try out some Hokas the other day, bought a pair and felt ridiculous. It was far too easy, especially going downhill. I barely had to exert myself. It felt like cheating... Anyway, I only ran in them 3 times before my knee started hurting so went back to the sandals.
Shoe tech is too advanced now, where do you draw the line?
