People say its weird, and oh you'll get "calf injuries, ankle injuries, etc.". Doesn't happen to me. Other shoes, even like marathon specific flats feel bulky and unnatural to me. I can put 120 mpw on these shoes and never have foot problems. Race in them too, up to a marathon.
Naw, I used them for all my workouts and tempos and eventually broke my foot. Not enough support for my feet.

I think it's ok if you feel really comfortable in them :) Personally I sometimes train in these shoes but they aren't good for me in case of the long marathons because I have flat feet...:(

I agree with the other in that each person has a different foot and a different requirement.

.That's what I'm wearing in my Avi. I trained for and ran several races in these including a full marathon, a few half marathons and some 5k and 10k's. They are a neutral shoe with good padding and support and the price is just right...around $80 but you can usually find them on sale for less.
