I ran a 2:25 800 in cold temps, my shoes were not spikes but trainers. This was during a team time trial, it was run ~ 2 1/2 months ago. Is it possible that in May I'll be able to run sub 4:50? Maybe even down to a 4:47?

It's possible, yes.
Just make sure to train consistently and see what happens. The only person that can get you to your goals is you.
