I'm a female high school sprinter, specialize in the 400 and also run the 2 and 1 from time to time. Last season I wore saucony spitfires, but they're too small now so before I just bought the same ones a size up I wanted to see if there were better options for my races.
I'm pretty open to any brand but I generally dislike adidas shoes and i liked my sauconys a lot.
The Nike Zoom Ja Fly 2 is excellent, but it may be too aggressive for 400. I don't recommend using it if you are any slower than 55 for guys and 60 for girls.
I belive Ja flys 2 and especially Adizero Prime Finesse would be the best option for anything below ~58s over 400, especially if you also run the 200 where anything softer would be a nonsense
