So now lets talk about the replacements for these guys. Who's replacing Oliver? Rinker? Carroll? Solinsky (if this is true)?

Good luck filling in for Jamey Harris. Everyone loved him.
Seriously. He was building a great program. One my athletes passed up scholarship to go run in D3 for him next year, she was so sold on what he was building...really sucks for her.
Wonder where he'll end up.
hopefully someplace better.

Solinsky is going to Florida. If I was Florida, no offense to Chris, I'd hire a Kenyan or someone with ties to Kenya. They need 1-2 ringer studs to make sure they win NCAAs in track every year.
Has anyone on mentioned that my old job- Cornell men's distance job is now open? My replacement, Zeb Lang, will be following his wife who just got her PHD at Cornell, to Fort Collins (not for coaching just a university job for her).

Do former "pro" runners, make good coaches?
Hell no. Most of them fail because of thier ego

Speaking of Cornell, any word on who their jumps hire will be?
As a college coach of 12 years, just because it is open book doesn't make the recruiting test easy! The NCAA recruiting test is 40 questions each year and you can miss 8. The questions cover basically 300 pages of rule and bylaw after bylaw. Having the book is useless if you do not know where to look! So you actually have to study the book, the practice tests, and any knew legislation each year. There has been some years I have missed 1 on the test, where as this year I missed 8!!!!

Why spend 2 scholarships on Kenyans? They've proven they don't need any distance points to win year in and year out. Mouse hired a guy who can get a few quality walks one and be a yes man. The question is can he develop the women. They have a lot of money on the distance women and aren't getting any girls to nationals.

Just use the online version and control F to search for any terms in the question. But hey old folks have a hard time. I get it.
Rojo, has it been confirmed Coach Lang is leaving? Have not seen posted or anything on his social media indicating it. If trrue, a earch just starting could run into late August for the Big Red.
Already known but lets make it official. http://www.goterriers.com/news/2017/7/12/mens-cross-country-spangler-named-head-cross-country-coach.aspx
If Solinsky leaves that opens the door for Barreau to head to W&M as the Director previously coached at CNU and has ties to Barreau
