Didn't Randy produce a division 1 top-5 CC finish while at K-State? I seem to recall him producing a lot of great runners.

What's the name of this 8:06 steepler he coached? I didn't know he coaches someone who could potentially break the AR in the steeple[/quote]

i saw this one coming.
Complete and utter BS as far as I know (From an SUU alum)
I think Mike Johnson would be an excellent candidate seeing as he already lives in Corvallis and commutes to Monmouth. He had what 2 national champions this year alone a relay team and a miler. So what if he's old he can coach.

Expect these names among the finalists:
Texas ast head coach Seth Henson who is from the area
Boise head Corey Ihmels
Former Lane CC head Grady O'Connor
Former Cal-Davis head and a former assistant at OSU Drew Wartenburg
Duke assistant Rhonda Riley, also a former OSU assistant
Why would Corey Ihmels go from Boise to OSU? I know its mid-major vs. Pac-12, but OSU is more like a mid-major, and it seems Boise has supported him more like a Power-5. He's got a very good thing going in a great location. What advantage would he get at OSU, unless its just about ego?
Rhonda Riley makes a lot of sense. She can recruit, she can coach and she is a she, and knows the program. Duke is a much better situation for her in many ways in terms of school and resources, but being a Director of a program also has some advantages.
Because he already went from a P5 to a mid-major to move his family closer to the northwest...and Oregon would be even more ideal for them...he & his wife both actually trained under Kelly Sullivan in Salem & he knows if he can do it at Boise, he can do it at Oregon State. Rhonda is happy where she is at.
Is Casavant leaving Belmont? If so, where is she going?
Seth Henson would be great! And he could bring James Croft with him to coach the distances who's currently a volunteer at Texas and also from Oregon.

What is the latest on the Head Coach job at the University of Texas? Is it just a RUMOR that Mario will no longer be there? If so, is it true that Tonja Burford-Bailey would be the head coach at UT???? It would be an huge blow if they lose TBB! However, it doesn't seem like Texas has recruited well in the sprint and hurdles area for the 2017-2018 season.

Maybe this is a legitimate source for people who are hiring. I always thought it was a bunch of us gossiping.

I was told its head distance, but the label is assistant coach. The hired person would get total control of distance program.
Pomona will go to the interim
