New Balance doing a great job sponsoring Footlocker

Please elaborate. I did see a picture of the uniforms and they were very cool.

Those uniforms were terrible though.

I thought it was great, until I saw the Boy's uniform. Never give a high school boy pink shorts.

I couldn't quite tell, what was the design on the shorts? The pink tops for the boys in the one region were unfortunate.

Agree that the vid was pretty good, but don't think it has much to do with NB. If you've watched recent years, it was very similar. Tim O'Rourke has called it for many years and Carrie has for a few now, too.

Agreed. I'm a hs teacher and coach and hot pink is very "in" for high school boys presently. Must be some old dude that isn't tuned in.

I attended the New Balance Nationals back in June and NB did an exceptional job on every aspect of that so I'm not surprised their Footlocker sponsorship also is on point.

And yes, light pink is actually in for teen boys right now—all the surf and skate companies have light pink and pastel blue hoodies this season, why, Idk but it is the trend.

Anything that gets Emily Sisson in front of a camera is good for me. So very cute and great demeanor; my favorite woman runner, with Molly a close second.

Why doesn't NB just take over as main sponsor? I saw more NB branding than I did Footlocker on the video. Saw a lot of "Eastbay" banners, so guessing they also chipped in (or are owned in part or whole by Footlocker).

Anyhow, I saw the gear NB gave the runners, which helped equate the FL race with NXN (in terms of giveaway gear).

I wonder for how long Footlocker has already committed to being sponsor? I really don't see them getting much for their advertising expense as sponsor - but would see NB or a shoe brand getting much more return.

Regarding NB uniforms - great for the girls, but I bet half the guys could wait to ditch 'em.

eastbay is owned by footlocker. Almost no one buys running shoes from footlocker, you go there and to their website for jordans. Eastbay however, is known for running shoes and team uniforms.

I have actually been looking for bright pink racing gear. Pink is definitely a popular color right now but it's hard to find splits or singlet's in the color. You have to be fast to wear them though. I'm fast. I can pull them off.
