At this point the only way you will get in is through the lottery. They accept 55,000. The first 45,000 fills up in about 2 days ( mostly locals ). Out of town runners get their applications about a week before they appear in the local Atlanta newspaper so everybody has a fair chance of getting in. If you don't get in this year one sure way to guarantee yourself for 06 is to join the Atlanta Track Clup. All club members get an application mailed to them about 2 weeks before they come out in the paper. Good luck.
Thought about running Mt. Washington but I see it has closed up too. What the crap?? What the hell happened to the days of just showing up to a race and running it. Makes ya want to bandit the damn thing.
