Around this time of year, it always gets thrown around what high school programs consistently produce elite high school athletes who falter at the next level. Let's focus on a more positive outlook. Are there any high school programs that consistently produce runners that performs well at the next?
my school. im the only sh-t runner there.
I'd guess it may depend more on where the athlete goes after HS than where they came from...
None, the talent required to be a well known NCAA runner is too great for one high school to produce very many. Statistically it doesn't work, no matter the program.

It's getting old that the same programs produce NXN qualifiers over and over again and few, if any, of their top runners do anything notable in their College careers. Does anyone see a trend here?
Depends more on specific athletes, but I keep an eye on American Fork, East Kentwood, Tesoro, Dana Hills, and certainly Great Oaks.
That may not answer the actual question, but those are the ones I'm watching per the depth and scope of their talent currently, plus past records.

Try again. Lots of athletes from some of the best HS programs are often qualifying for NCAA, and finishing decently as well.

AA is an extremely high bar, far more so than being a member of a top HS program. What about Top 100 finishers?
FM and CBA also aren't the very top programs on the boys side. North Central and American Fork are the top teams, with a little bit of a gap back to teams like CBA, Arcadia, FM and The Woodlands.
Seems like North Central has had at least half a dozen qualify for NCAA Nationals. Not sure about AF. Arcadia had multiple qualify.
Davis UT, while not a Top 5 program, is maybe a Top 10 program that has also had some athletes that have had post-HS success. Jared Ward in particular.
Neuqua Valley is similar, with Chris Derrick being an even bigger name than Ward.

The trend is your expectations are too high. The best NXN teams produce a much higher rate of top college runners than non NXN teams.

What do you mean by qualify for NCAA Nationals? On a team that qualifies? Qualify as an individual?
The question is do they live up to the expectations? Do they earn their scholarship if they are awarded one?

The trend is your expectations are too high. The best NXN teams produce a much higher rate of top college runners than non NXN teams.
Or is that just your perception? Did you do a study?
My guess is it's pretty random but probably more burnout from the high mileage programs than others especially on the girls side. And yes, there are exceptions to every generalization.
It's not just the high mileage that is the issue. Some of these NXN regulars are all about intensity, doesn't end well.
How do the Great Oak kids do at the collegiate level?

In NJ, how about the girls from Southern Regional? In addition to all of their mid-distance strength (Tauro, Smith, Cox, etc.), their jumpers/vaulters are pretty damn good too.
