I've really liked Saucony's racing flats the past 4-5 years and have owned the A4, the A5, the A6 and now the "Type A". But the Type A is no longer available -- even Saucony's website has only a few sizes left.
Does anyone know if an update is coming? Or has the model just been discontinued entirely?? I've seen some blogs (like at runningwarehouse) that have detailed the 2017 Saucony shoe line-up, but there's no mention of the Type A.

Type A in a new color (GreenCitron) comes out Feb 1, 2017.
The updated Type A8 comes out on June 1, 2017.

best damn shoes I have ever had. Impossible to find though, and this didn't start today, it has been going on for years. I have no idea why the folks at saucony don't make the GRID/A a flagship shoe.
Thanks "Way Out West" for the info. Glad to hear that they're not discontinued entirely. I don't care all that much about the color, but Saucony has had crazy color choices (I hate the fiery orange that they have now for the Type A). Green/citron doesn't sound great either, but we'll see....Not sure I agree with "somebloke" that they've been hard to find. I don't see them in stores very often, but I've generally had no problems ordering them on Amazon or from Saucony's website, with the exception of periods like now where they're transitioning to a new version.
