Looked into it more and saw a mention of a bad spike accident. Ouch.

I thought I saw some guys fall around a mile or so into the race. This was live spectating, not on the video feed. I could be wrong. Or maybe it was him and he got spiked. It was the farthest southwest part of the course.

How do you get spiked in the face? Did he fall? Was K Bekele in the race?

Read the first sentence of my post. I guess I forgot to say: "Maybe it was Moskowitz who fell."

He fell and got stepped on at about the 2K mark. Broken nose and slight concussion. Tuff as nails that he finished. Great kid.
