Was just curious how much wind really helps. How much would a 16mph tailwind take off a straight 200m (ran in training on a field not a track so it was a straight line). approximately, would it be like .1-.2 seconds only or a full second or ?

I have no idea if there are any accepted wind conversions for 200m straight line but I was playing around with a 100m calculator and a 12.0 100m with 16 mpw tailwind converted to 12.32. So, 0.64 difference for 200m? I don't know. But what will make a bigger difference is how accurately the 200m was measured in this field. Even if done with a well calibrated wheel it probably was not exactly 200m.
