Colorado's Erin Clark looks to have a 2009 Jenny Barringeresce race and finished 133rd today. Definitely cost CU a team title...as they still took third only 9 points from first place Oregon.
Hard not to feel bad for Clark as she's a senior and has been their team leader all senior.
Anyone know if she was sick or injured? As CU ever one a women's XC title? It was theirs to win this season.

She was secretly trained from her days at South Eugene High School to infiltrate Colorado's top 7 her senior year and cost them a championship allowing Oregon to win.
She probably just freaked out but you could be right. This was a bigger fix than the 1919 World Series
Colorado women won in 2000 and in 2004. It's been awhile

If she placed down in the field she had an off day. It happens. Team still placed 3rd and that's a great result.
not only did erin clark gave an off day, but so did charlotte prouse of washington who finished around 208th !? I literally don't understand how this happens? She raced well all this season and this is how it ends :/

It just happens. Clark is a great runner, and will be back. Same as Cheserek. Has there ever been a XC runner who didn't have a less than stellar race?
