This kid is going to be good. He has plenty of speed, is still a relatively low mileage guy and is tough as nails

I agree...This kid may medal at the Olympics one day....Faster than Rupp at low end and similar low mileage in college
another Canadian talent? Mo Ahmet, Cameron Leavins...now Knight
I read that he ran 35m/wk in high school and has only worked his way up to 60 m/week this year.
PRs 3:56 mile 7:48 3000m 13:27 5000
This year should be good!
I've been following Justyn since high school. Never have I seen a guy with more potential.

Is he going to break down like Leavins has?
Well of course he has talent... they all do. There is a reason they are good at sports. Especially running.
only if he goes to train with you know who
I heard he only ran 35 km/wk.
Low mileage because he is fragile, or low mileage because he doesn't need to run more to be successful (like Lagat)?

Gabriele Rosa and his EPO herd?

Low mileage because he was late to join the sport and b/c he doesn't need more to be successful.
Definitely under 13:20 this year.

Lawi Lalang had way more in the toolbox, and he hasn't sniffed a medal (regardless of having to go through Kenyan qualifying just to get there). Chelenga is another example, if you want someone with an easier path to the Olympics.
You cannot use the trajectory of someone else and apply it to another.
What kind of tools did Lalang have?
Being very black

A few Canadians made it big time . Levins probably burned out with too many miles, Mo Ahmed is good, Nate Brannen was good, Kevin Sullivan was ok,. Knight could be the next big thing, why not. Will he go train under Salazar in a couple years?
He does this wrote:

Gnarly kick and tons of endurance for hard, fast, long racing.
Sullivan was far better than Ahmed or Brannen.
