Racing my first 800 in 3 weeks on a 200 meter track.
This will be my first 800 in 2 years. Outside of a time trial 3 months ago where I ran 1:56.
Workouts: tonight I ran 4 sets of 4x200 with a min break between reps. And 6 min between sets. Avg 200 was 27.5.
-3x400 8 min break in 53 52 50
-5x1k 1:30 break with 3:18 average.
-6x800 with 2 min break in 2:28 avg.
60 miles a week during base, and right now anywhere from 40-50 miles a week.
