These sure are shocking allegations. Next thing you know, you'll be telling me that my hero, Sammy Sosa, is hopped up on drugs.

This is the best post I've seen on the site for some time.

Oviously Jacobs has a lot of shit on USATF and they are afraid to bust her. The people at USATF should be held accountable, athletes that are beaten by Jacobs should sue for loss of earnings. It may take a mass protest, like the other competitors in a race in which she competes sitting down at the starting line. If that was done on live television it may be enough to jar the authorities into action. USATF is not going to act without serious provocation. Ladies the ball is in your court.

Drug testing was administered at Boston and it was EXACTLY THE SAME as in New York.

I realize you want to keep talking about Regina, but the logic you apply is: "Hmm, Regina skips Milrose, therefore Milrose must have drug testing. Regina runs WR Boston, therefore Boston must have had no drug testing".

Does anyone know regina's ethnicity? Is she Jewish, black, white, mixed? The Kenyan's think she is Mexican.

Those who read this post need to understand, Drug testing at USATF events is now done by USADA, an independent agency.

In competition drug testing was administered by USADA in Boston just as it was NYC. In addition, ANYONE who set a WR or AR must be drug tested or else the record cannot be ratified.

Granted Regina did skip the Olympics where blood EPO testing was in place but for a world record to be ratified there has to be drug testing in place. So there was urine drug testing in Boston just as there was in Millrose so your argument doesn't fly.

At what point and via which medium would the test results of any of these test be made pubilc? How long does it take to ratify a record?

although I love your site wejo, i must say that i do have inside sources that don't know i am posting on this site (i wouldn't continue to receive the information if they did know). regina was not tested in boston (most likely out of her request ... as someone posted earlier, she probably does have a lot of shit on USATF that if she were to get caught, she would just shit on USATF ... blackmail ...) as i stated in my previous post, there will be optimists ... just like there are optimists that Iraq doesn't have these weapons of mass destruction ... however, that shit doesn't fly when the truth is that DRUGGIES are DRUGGIES and Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. She doesn't do (like other athletes) meets with drug testing (or requests not "to bother with drug testing" or will pull out of the meet, which would lose promoters money). If you base your system on shitty morale then you will eventually have the shit come out. Why did USATF go to such high courts of the IAAF for the shitty morale they have? b/c although they have great programs (and are contributing to promoting postcollegiate clubs and all their other stuff) they really do have some bad stuff going on that needs to be revealed. Maybe we should start a new league: USTF that honest people can run and will be respected. I have run a few of the televised USATF events and at the athlete meetings they ALWAYS say: "If you are interviewed make sure you say what a great crowd is on hand (and sometimes that the fans are the best fans in the nation, when in reality only about 200 people may show up and they may say on the telecast that it was "standing room only"). You can say all that you want. Proclaim all that you say is true, but I, and probably most will not believe a word you say until we see info going through credible sources, ie, not a message board where anyone can post. This is just anonymous dribble with nothing to back it up.

Prove your credibility. Name the televised races in which you have run. Name the events that had only 200 spectators (I know the two televised events in the last 5 years that had less than 1000) and I will look at the tape and see if anyone announced "standing room only."

Why drone on with baseless accusations and errors on facts that are so easily disproved? USADA tests the athletes and the meet promoters, USATF and athletes do not knpw is picked until the moment a race is run. In most events, ex Nationals and Trials and WR's, a predetermined number of athletes are selected (I believe at random) based on finish place.

Based on what we all have read, I am sure USADA would love to nab a USATF runner or prove some insider games. They want to validate their independence and efficacy by nailing T&F. To think that USADA, USATF, the meet promoter and athletes are all in cahoots with no one leaking it seems preposterous.

In TWO sentences, the very poorly named "i know" says Maurice "probably signed" an agreement, admits he doesn't know if Maurice's name was on an illegal substance list, but says he assumes he was and the agreement ...which, remember, "i know" DOESN'T know if Maurice signed, is the reason for his subpar 2002 season.

In other words "i know" knows NOTHING about Maurice, but is happy to defame him anyway. How precious.

As for Regina, she won Millrose's mile the previous four years, when there was drug testing. She was hurting slightly, and she wants to run the USATF and World Indoor meets. Is that clear enough?

When I describe the kind of stuff that appears on letsrun to friends, I warn them about threads like this one: inflammatory, accusatory, anonymous and a bunch of nonsense. There's something about cyberspace that unleashes the worst in people. Without (and too often even with) the facts before them, many posters twist and spin topics in ways to suit themselves. They are quick to judge w/out consulting authorities or consult facts that might set the record straight.

Off my soapbox a sec...I said on another thread and will repeat here, I feel Regina J is drug-free and have no reason to think otherwise.
