Does that he mean an open time trial or a hard 400m after workout?
This is really not surprising at all given he outkicks everyone almost all the time, and many world elites these days have the ability to kick home in 52.X or 53.X after running 4500m at 13:10 pace. Lagat kicked home in 51.9 for one of his sub 13 efforts, and he even let up a bit before the finish.
I would guess that Farah can do 49.x fresh or mostly fresh, but probably not at the end of a hard workout. I could definitely see him doing it to cap off a threshold run or something though.

It means that Centro beats MoNo in speed workouts. Let's remember that Centro won the Olympic GOLD MEDAL with a 50.62 last lap.
Has MoNo ever finished a race in his life with a 50.62 last 400m??????

Do you remember that Centro did a workout before the Olympics of 8 x 400m in 51 sec. avg. with the last 400m in 49.7 seconds?…and that he was ahead of MoNo in some workouts they did together in Flagstaff?

Centro has run a 50.62 last lap to win the gold medal at the Olympics. Centro was also ahead of Mo in some track workouts on the NAU track in Flagstaff.
Mo ran a 50.89 last lap against weak competition in a winning time of 14:10. Go Mobot.
How about a sub 51.94 last 400m against really strong competition in a winning time of 12:59?
