So it was more of a trainer than a flat?

I've also been looking for Adistar Steeple spikes, which seem to have gone out of production because every store online has run out (excepting weird sizes). Does anyone have a pair of those (also 10.5-11) that they can part with?

It's a great fitting shoe, almost like a glove but I had several pairs and in every single one of the air bag burst. I wouldn't recommend it on that fault alone.

Harambee(puma), Really, lite, not much there to hold water.

Ventulus, very cheap on eastbay, i run steeples in it , and NEVER felt like i was holding to much water.

You use the Vents (old, spotted style) for steeple? or the Vent plus? Lincoln used what looked like the spotted Vents for last year's NCAAs. I've only ever used adidas spikes. How do Nikes (the old Vents) fit relative to something like the Adidas Proviso XCs?

I think they fit about a half size -size bigger than addias cross shoes.

I used the white ones(same as the spotted).

the plus MIGHT drain better, but i think they weigh a touch more.

it will not matter though, go with whats cheaper.

Im a midfoot striker and love the Vents spike plate(wish the hel was a touch lower), ive heard hell strikers are able to use them well to.

to me the new eldorets look like the best possbile setup(just enough spike for traction low to the ground).

but ill be damned if im going to spend 80$ on track spikes.

Try the asics spikes, they drain as well as the others.
