I'm trying to run the 1500 in college (I've been a sprinter in high school). I heard about jack daniels , but I can't find an actual program. It would be great if someone could give me one.

1. His plans are great. I have trained or coached all of his plans from the 800 to the marathon, with 90% VERY good results.
2. His plans aren't really "plans". They are guidelines. You will need to do some math, figure up your total goal miles each week... in short, it takes some planning.
3. His book is easy to find on amazon. Jack Daniels Running Formula.
Thanks, I've read an article on him and I was a little confused because I thought it was supposed to be an actual program.
He does have entire programs laid out in his book... They're based on categories of paces (F, R, I, T and E). They're based on your current fitness levels and he provides charts to look up... Then you just plug your paces into the programs he provides.
I had success with his miler program... I adjusted things as needed, often cutting out a few reps (some of the workouts are pretty tough, so you'll need to be honest with yourself about your current fitness level)
