I'd say you would be right around 10 minutes. Best of luck!
9:30 ?
That's a tough workout to tell
Assuming that workout is part of a normal training regimen, then you should be in ballpark of 9:37 for 3200m.
Let us know if you run one soon.
i meant to say 8x1000 but i guess you guys understood that
I'm in ~9:50 shape and I could do the first 4 with you. I would suppose somewhere between 9:30-9:40 depending on whether you are a workout or race hero.

My very good source says 9:25.
On Friday I ran a 5 mile tempo on the Texas state meet course(moderate difficulty because of the hills) which is also my home course. The mile splits were:
5:36
5:36
5:37
5:29
5:21
I have my pre-district meet on Thursday which is only a 3200 meter race. I'll tell you guys my time after the race.
Predict 3200:
1 min rest,
First 400 at 71
Then next 11 from 70 walking down to 67
PS: 26 mid flying start 200 speed (v slow)
9:50
That's a typical Vo2 max interval workout.. 1:1 rest at 3k pace.. You're average should be around 3k pace.. So 9:15 for a 3k or about 9:50-9:55 for a 3200
Name's Nubbins, I cut the mile in four-oh-eight. I reckon whatcha got there's about a 9:30, those repeats run on the old cinder?
Good ol' Nubbins wrote:

LOL you think 8x1k is run at 3k pace? NO WAY
OP you should be able to run no worse than 9:30 on the track, but you're racing on an xc course so who knows.

I ran my pre district 3200 xc race in 10:11. The course was annoying because it had a lot of short-medium hills and you couldn't wear spikes because there was to much concrete. I got 3rd. 1st and 2nd were 10:07 and 10:08. The guy who got first ran a 4:32 1600 and a 9:48 3200 during track. The guy who got 2nd ran a 1:57 800 and 4:25 1600 during track.
