I am a very competitive runner.
6'0" - 128 pounds.
Everwhere I go, i get called out for being too skinny.
I eat a sh1t load of food.
Should i really be concerned with this? I run fast, and dont get injured

Apologize for being un-American and move on.
6'0, at least be 145 for a runner. If you had any muscle or weren't a runner, at least 165
dang im 150 and 6'3" and im super skinny, boii you lean

That's gross.
So?
Don't worry about it. I'm 5'10" and 125, so similar build. I'd not seen my sister for a while and she asked if I had AIDS. Nice.
Wiry strong!!
Get over it Skinny, and go eat a sandwich.
I was 5'10", in high school and weighed 128lbs and looking back at pictures I looked very skinny.
When I started running in college I put on a little more muscle and was 136 and looked better but pretty much ran the same times as I did in high school and actually got hurt more often than I did in high school.
I say just keep running and eating and don't worry what weight your body wants to be.
I am going to guess you are a younger runner, once you're older like me you are going to wish it was that easy to stay skinny! :-)

BMI calculator says 17.4. Underweight is
If you run fast than it's all good. Everybody has their own unique body structure so what works for somebody else might not work for you and vice versa.

If you are 15, no big deal. You will gain weight as you age. You may have just had a growth spurt but your mass hasn't caught up.
If you are 25, definitely hit the gym and put on the pounds. You'll get laid more. Girls don't want to screw guys they can beat up.
If you are 45, you probably should focus on some weight gain. you'll feel healthier and can prevent some old age type injuries.
If you contracted AIDS you could still gain weight.
Hit the gym, you twig.
Every time someone calls you out for being too skinny, ask if they can have some of their fat, since they have plenty to spare? That will get them to be quiet. Worst case scenario you know you can out run them.
Unfortunately, it will only get worse. You have every right to be pissed. 70% of the country is overweight. It's a disgusting trend.
An overweight person commenting on a normal person's weight is like a high school dropout telling a college graduate they read too much. It happens. It's sad.
My advice is to defend yourself.
Next time an overweight person comments on your weight, these are acceptable comebacks:
"Oh. We're discussing weight. How much do you weigh?"
"My BMI is on the low end. But my blood pressure and cholesterol numbers are better than anyone. And I feel great. What's your BMI? Blood pressure?"
The key is to turn it around on them and be relentless. Continue reminding them they broached the subject of weight.
The people leaving negative comments on this thread are most likely overweight. They are everywhere, even running forums. It's sad.
Be proud of your weight. You will continue to be persecuted by the overweight, but they are the inferior class who lack self control and self respect. Rise above them.

This. Although if you're 15 and already 6 foot then you can start lifting, not like you have to worry about it stunting your growth. Pack on at least 15 pounds of muscle rather than being skinnyfat. You don't want to look like a distance runner in life.
if you gained some weight you might not be so sick and tired
If you weren't skinny, they'd find something else to project their inferiority complex upon. Losers are always finding random things to pick on to feel better about themselves. But I agree about reversing things if someone brings it up, and your commenting on their weight or work ethic subtly as they are doing to you. Perhaps if you do that, they won't be so bold to bug you about it. If you feel like gaining weight, go for it. But just be yourself.
Honestly that IS pretty damn thin, im 5'10 and 145 atm and its about as thin as id want to be. That said, i still here those comments myself and almost everyone who makes them is overweight. Its their way if projecting their own insecurities on to you. Just ignore it, be thankful u arent fat, and move on. Most important thing is that your body feels good
