Centro's gonna move up to 5k anyways

Centro hasn't been beaten in a 1500 on the track by an American in years. Andrews has come close though. I think you need to include Andrews in the discussion when repping the field for the next few years. He's still young and developing.
Murphy's better than Alexander and will remain so in the future.
The 5th Ave Mile is an exhibition race and deserves little mention when it comes to milers "locking horns".
Regardless of all that stuff Alexander, Andrews, and Murphy are all studs. Neither one of those three have come within 4 seconds of Centro's PR, and that's not even to mention that Centro is a much better tactician than he is a time trialer. 1.Centro...................2. Andrews 3/4 Alexander and Murphy. Though I will give you by next year it might be 1. Centro....2. Murphy 3/4 Andrews and Alexander.

Typical comment from someone who never competed at an elite level. 5th Ave is the highest profile road mile in the world. Centro skipped European racing to focus on winning NY. He stated it was one of his goals to win in NY.
