LunarTempo 2 being discontinued

Start stocking up on as many pairs as possible. You can probably get them very cheap at this point while you look for a replacement.

I am doing that thanks! I have one with low miles and one in the hole, and there are plenty available out there... Just thinking long term..

A friend of mine bought a pair at sports authority for like $40. If you have one of those around I recommend going and buying as many pairs as possible.

Until Nike has a shoe on sale with no pairs at regular price I wouldn't go as far as to say it's being discontinued yet. There are 7 colorways at regular retail price at the moment so I think you have some time before the LunarTempo 2 is gone.

The new Lunaracer 4s are actually really fantastic-- I'd suggest giving them a shot. I ran all my road ultras in the 3s last year and train nearly exclusively in them. The 4s have a wider toebox, better upper material, and more snug fit around the ankle. Definitely feel even better as a "daily trainer"-- my first run in them I went for 2 hrs. The roomier toebox makes such a big difference!

I tried the Lunartempos on one time and thought they were too stiff.

Wore Lunaracer/Tempos for my first couple of marathons. Switched over to the Boston Boost....No comparison!!!! Way faster ride with the cushion you need for the marathon. No "mushy" Luna stuff under you.
