This guy and I met 2 weeks ago and started chatting and texting. Last weekend, we decided to go get coffee this weekend (tomorrow). Our conversation was on Monday, where we agreed on a time and then he asked if I lived in (same vicinity). I said I did and that was the last text.
We're supposed to meet tomorrow afternoon. If he doesn't text to confirm, should I ask him if we're still on even though I sent the last text? Not sure what the etiquette is here.
Yes. Just a quick, "Hey are we still on for tomorrow at X time at Y place".

We haven't decided the place, just the time. Since we live close to each other it's possible we could meet up at our nearby location and walk to a place.
What is the problem? If you want to meet, set it up, if not, hold your peace. Kids these days...

If you want to be slick about it, wait until 1:00 and if no message, then tell him you are running late and can't make it until 2:30.

I thought tomorrow morning might work since we did already agree on a time (but not a place).
I am actually coming from somewhere else so there is a chance I might be a little late. Taking what someone else said, maybe "Hey! Is 2ish today still good? I might be running a little late, is 2:15 okay?"
I don't think I'm desperate but I see potential in this guy (more than I have in a guy in a long time) so I am more interested than usual.
If you wear flip flops or open toe sandals, it will be one and done.
