She blew it with the "first white" comment. She deserves to get some flack about that. The intersex athlete issue is a very serious issue and the women in the 800 have every right to be angry about it. But the intersex athlete issue has nothing to do with race. Joanna should not have injected race into the discussion.
These social justice warriors are really so desperate to have women do things men can do that , in their hysterical little minds, they will actually rationalize having the woman be a man. It's just too common of a syndrome. Unfortunately they have some political clout in various places.

Well, at least not in the context of qualifying to compete in women's events.
But, the PC crowd has won and women's sports will ultimately suffer. I know that I have zero interest in watching or following events dominated by intersex athletes.
Semenya is also very definitely not a man, that is why we have the term "intersex".

If Semeya had no Y chromosome, IAAF would have disclosed that and the entire debate would cease. They tested the DNA and obviously found a Y-chromosome, and tried to employ "mitigating" measures.
