Language barrier. He meant that the US would not fail to medal in any event 800 and up. He was pretty close on that prediction.

I know right. My favorite one was the thread that asked "Is this the worst distance team the United States has ever sent to the Olympics?" or something to that effect. The number of people in concurrence was astonishing. I won't say I expected the level of success USA T&F had from 800+, but man all those people are sure eating crow now.
