In my opinion this kid Jeremy Wariner has the ability to be one of the best long sprinters of all time.I'm sure there are many more out there but they're probably playing either football, basketball or baseball.

I also think Tim Dwight could roll a fast one if he trained for the 400 since he's run under 21 in the 200 many times.

Just a bit faster last year, was the University of Arizona's Mike Kenyon, 45.38. Kevin Little was better than both of them, not long ago.

if you want to get down the numbers, the fastest Caucasian is still Marian Woronin of Poland, with his 10.00. I would still vote for Borzov however, who Quercetani still calls Europe's best sprinter ever.

the US high school 60 record is held by a Caucasian kid named Casey Combest, who has given up track since he started college. Oh well.

Shane Niemi of Canada is a super talent. He has run 44.86, and has the potential to run faster. How much faster, I'm not sure. He is 24 years old.

Go back and get your Oly final tape of the 400 where he got silver. Ignore MJ's race, and focus on Black. He comes off the last turn in a pack in 2nd place looking like roadkill. He then Frankensteins his way down the straight at full speed looking at every step like a man about to be eaten up by the field. He goes all the way to the line like that. Truly one of the most impressive 400 performances ever.

And Dopek's Dad is black and his mom white. Cross him off this list.

Juantorena would have to go before the judges to qualify as white. Not a chance. If he's white so is Joaquim Cruz. They are likely mostly Black and Spanish/Indian.

Whatever happened to Casey Combest from Kentucky? In the 1998 NSI he upset 2 time champ Mike Newell(VA) in the 60. Now that was one fast white boy!

If you want fast white 400m runners, look to the university of Minnesota. Currently they have 6 white guys under 47, I think, and Mitch Potter ran 45.2 as a true freshman at his first outdoor race, then innjured himself in the 200 the sanme meet. Sophmore year, 45.8 indoor, injured again. This year could be sub 45. Tom Gerding, from the U of M went 45.18 and won the World University Games. They are going to have many white guys going 45 in the next three years, for sure.
