The best we could muster might be an occasional barf after an intense track workout. I hope this shuts up some of you losers who think you're tougher than everyone else. Much respect....

Thanks! I barfed in 20k races several times but never had the misfortune of doing what this guy did today.
Ok, maybe you are being sarcastic- but racewalkers are indeed pretty tough- I mean, think about all the crap (sorry) we put up with in addition to your standard endurance sport fatigue/pain.

why did they dwell on it. Give the guy a break. Stupid. The announcers this morning kept commenting that he had stomach issues. Don't show it and don't say anything. Totally disrespectful.

Why not encourage an all out event:
The beer road 10k, where competitors are encouraged (and maybe required or get bonus points and bragging rights) for getting sh1t faced (beer), vomiting (from exhaustion and said beer) and defacating and pissing themselves. To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift. Right?
Race leader poops out before finish.
Imagine if this unfortunate happening cause a similar chain reaction as vomitting.
Reminds me of watching Grete Waitz finishing a marathon with diarrhea running down the back of her legs back in the day.
Shouldn't the race director pull you out of the race if you have diarrhea running out of you? Not only is it disgusting for everyone, it's a health hazard to everyone.
