Not surprising. They short changed Evan Jager too.
And, he ran well. He made that surge after 400m and then last 250 a few runners passed him and then twice it looked like other runners were gonna blow by him, but he accelerated both times, not allowing more runners to pass him and maintaining an auto qualification place.

Total BS they didn't show it. He ran like a stud too. Plus with the past 2 olympic champs in that heat you think they would. Ridiculous.
In the time they spent covering the swimming bathroom story, they could have shown it twice.
I've been so caught up in the Robby Andrews DQ that I have failed to give props to Ben Blankenship who ran an excellent tactical race to advance to the finals.
He stays in the front and doesn't play chicken in the qualifying rounds. He looked like he had done this before. Great race for Ben.
