So he gets into a cab in a foreign country and is pulled out by an authority in uniform. There is a clear 4-second gap missing from the video where they go from doors shut to being out of the cab with hands up. Then they go off frame. If you watch that Globo video, you see them at the other end of the car wash and Lotche gets pushed down with his hands in the air. Then they all sit on the curb. Then the security guard takes his money and lets them go.
So if this happened to you, wouldn't you think you were robbed? Would you consider that a legitimate situation? No. Hell no.
The security guard and the gas station attendants knew exactly who he was. They knew he had money and they were going to take it.
Now Lochte and his frats bros are dumb ass drunks who need a lesson on how to act in a foreign country, but they don't deserve to be robbed and then drawn and quartered by the global media.
And of course now they are somehow "white privileged" for all of this because something about Gabby Douglas? They are getting murdered by the media. Their sponsors are gone and their careers are toast. They will probably have to deal with legal issues to boot. Not exactly sure what all of that white privilege is amounting to in this situation. Seems more like a witch hunt.
What are these buffoons guilty of? They are guilty of being drunk aceholes and they are guilty of not getting the details correct on their story.
One thing I am sure of: If a guy in a uniform pulled you out of a taxi with a gun and emptied your wallet, you would think you got robbed at gunpoint. You wouldn't say it was some kind of everyday justice for shenanigans in the bathroom that resulted in a dirty floor and a messed up sign.
Get real. Truth served!
