I've always loved the way Jenny Simpson races. She's smart when she needs to be, gutsy when it's on the line, and she reps her country well. I am very happy for her and her family!

It was that hot braid thing she had going on. Girl's a stone fox. Cold as ice and willing to sacrifice.
Yes, I think it really worked in her favor that she did make an attempt to go to the lead early and just tougher it out and she did just that, 1600 meters, she is 2nd
And how about that Jenny Scream after the finish. It will someday be world famous.

She was smart in the semi and only ran as fast as she needed to qualify. A certain WR holder could learn from her.

Both Americans controlled their acceleration very well. They measured their effort perfectly. I was impressed.

I'm sorry, but something about Simpson bothers me. The over-the-top celebrating 3rd place, the Dibaba comments, not knowing where Rowbury finished (or caring, apparently) until much later. Is it just me?
