Being on a big team or a small team

Smaller schools give specialized attention to individuals.

Small school here. Small team.

Small = not that good

not that good = coach who doesn't care

OR

not that good = small

I'm leaps better then any kid on the team and I got no special coaching, same terrible workouts. Now I have a private coach. I workout alone, it's no fun. I run with a friend very rarely.

Being on a large team would have been nice..

I was on a small team with a great coach, but I always wanted more people, but now with a big team and a good coach, its just not as fun because its just not individual

My xc team has like 80 people on it. Everyone knows each other besides freshman or new runners and we all have a personal relationship with our coach. Theres no individual workouts but we will have groups that do their own workout. I've been on a smaller team before and the only difference is theres less people around your skill level.
