Kenya have been strangely poor so far, besides a couple of obvious standouts.
Women's 1500 were poor, even struggling in the steeplechase. Maybe they've all been starving cause their coaches stole their IDs.

I agree it is a long shot in most cases, but Emma Coburn has an excellent shot at bronze. I would be surprised if she did not medal in the SC.

If you mean no golds at 800+ then I agree that's very possible, maybe even likely. But I'll be very surprised if we don't get a single medal at all in 800+ men or women. That's a lot of hardware in a lot of races where there are some pretty good USA athletes.

And Flanagan is an outside shot in the marathon and the gals for a bronze in the 1500m could all happen. The odds are just against it.
I'm hoping for Jenny Simpson. I'm also hoping that NBC even shows the Women's 1500 semi's, and not more rowing.
