This question is obviously for runners who are older, who have run for many years...at least beginning in or before their prime and staying with it for years and years - not some one who began at 35 years old and saw improvements all the way to age 40.
When did you find that you were definitley at the top of the curve...no matter how hard or smart you trained, you could never run faster than your PR's.....or at least you maintained your PR level for a while?
General rule of thumb says about 35 or so.......but I know there are exceptions.
