Your review implies that Shannon Rowbury is linked to doping.
That is an outright lie. You know full well that Shannon was in no way implicated in the accusations made against the NOP.
It is insulting and irresponsible for you to mention her name in the same sentence with convicted dopers.
Shame on you wrote:

+1000
It ruined what could have been a very good article.

Can you imagine if Salazar was caught in a hotel with EPO? There would be daily articles about it on this site, and there would be outrage that his athletes get to compete. Since it's a non-Salazar coach, all we get is a sheepish "there is no evidence that implicates her directly" regarding Dibaba and just a general lack of interest from the so-called "journalists" on this site (compared with the Salazar situation).

C'mon. What do you expect? I agree with you, but did you expect anything different? I will give the BroJos this much: they throw shade on pretty much EVERYONE and are not that biased (except the most obvious drug cheat of all-time, Paula).
Do they hate NOP more than everyone else? Sure. Not by much though.

That and the brojos continued attempt to swing public opinion on, and exonerate Jama Aden and his training group.
I wonder what's in it for the brojos?
All the article said was that Salazar's training group has been accused of doping.
I'm going to go ahead and accuse the other two training camps that our US runners train in as well so that the cloud of dirty doping can be over all of our athletes.
Wetmore is doping his athletes in Colorado.
Vigil and Handler are doping their athletes in Big Bear TC.
Henceforth, this will be the dirtiest team ever sent by the US, as all 3 athletes have now been accused of doping.
Dark days for US track....

Only one of the three athletes is under long term investigation by the USADA.
I have tipped Centro to all my gambling friends who know nothing about the sport. He better not let me down. 16/1
You can even get 11/4 on him to medal

Wrong again. I'm sure you are erroneously assuming that one athlete to be Shannon.
If you want to feel relevant, please state facts about this situation.
FACT: Shannon has never been the subject of a long term investigation by the USADA
Oh we're talking women. No bets on this one, don't see any good value. Kipyegon, Dibaba and Muir for the medals
Are we talking about winning gold at the games, or holding onto it once the doping allegations are settled?

No one will be losing a medal. They just caught Dibaba red handed and are allowing her to compete. To revoke her gold after the fact would be insane.

I edited the piece and will take responsibility for the Rowbury and Decker lines. I didn't like the way our staffer initially wrote the piece. It initially was written saying Dibaba hadn't tested positive 'yet' and basically called her a doper. I thought it was xenophobic.
I just wanted to people to realize that given the facts we have now that DIbaba's situation is similar to Rowbury in some ways. There's a whole thread on this very messageboared about how Dibaba's a dirty cheat. All I pointed out is that I've never seen Dibaba's name linked to anything doping related except for the fact that her coach has supposedly done something bad - yet 7 weeks after a raid, we're hearing crickets. Rowbury also is coached by a guy who has been accused of things but never sanctioned for them.
I don't know why me pointing these ufacts out would upset you. The facts are in this sport we have to comfortable with the uncomfortable.

Totally agree with your comment. The LR Dictator is clearly the problem with this board. Spewing nonsense without any evidence. See you in court soon.
Guilt by association carries no weight.
You also clearly can't believe that because something is written means it is true?
Is it true you were unsuccessful in your application to write for the Nationsl Enquier? It has been written therefore it must be true.
Genzebe Dibaba and others were on site during a raid where a lot of EPO was found. There is no indication that reporting was incorrect. The athletes did not test positive but, as this site notes a lot, lots of people don't test positive . Aden claims:- the EPO was the property of another athlete who was not arrested. Why is that?- the physio was not associated with his team. Other reporting suggests he paid for rental of the whole facility.- the needles were for his personal treatment of fatigue. (An interesting treatment method for general fatigue for a non-athlete.)- he took the needles to other places for the safety of 14 and 17 year olds. (This seems quite cautious. Was there no lid? Is there some other circumstance we don't know about). In contrast, almost everything In the NOP story is conjecture about Rupp. There are some details that are worriesome but there is no comparison to EPO on site with key athletes present. Even the outspoken NOP accusers have never pointed the finger at a runner other than Rupp, except for thyroid and asthma which lots of people take. So how is Rowbury equivalent to Dibaba? Also, you have remarkable restraint on this story which may be a good development but it is worth noting that the main contribution by LR was an immediate attempt tto implicate Farah and Salazar in the Aden investigation through Instagram and an email of a workout.
I'm rooting for the Dutch lady, go Holland!
I also would like Shannon Rowbury or Brenda Martinez to medal and I'm being realistic that they both won't do it. I'm sure an African will make top 2.
For some reason, I kind of like Rowbury more than Simpson, and Martinez would be a great great story.

Are you kidding me? Her coach was caught with dozens of vials of EPO and steroids, is on surveillance footage disposing of the vials, was under investigation by authorities for three years, was arrested, indicted, had his passport revoked, and is banned from the Olympics. The only evidence he has is claiming it wasn't his stuff. The authorities claim otherwise. That can be hashed out in a Spanish court of law. But we're not talking about laws and legal systems. We're talking about cheating in a sport that supposedly doesn't allow PED use; we have enough evidence that Aden was administering PEDs to every athlete present that day.
Its not xenophobia to believe the runners under said coach are cheating.
Its a fact that EPO is only detectable in the body for a few hours after administering. Its a fact that the biological passport is not keeping up with dopers. Its a fact that there are better ways of detecting cheats than finding drugs in their body; like finding drugs in their coach's room.
