Hi everyone, I wanted to share a project I shot during the trials where I reached out to athletes via twitter and snapchat to be a part of my project. It's an inside look to what athletes are doing when not competing.

Yeah, no kidding. WTF is up with that, OP? I think your project is pretty awesome and I personally hate smoking, but the guy was probably a local and he is outside. My guess is that you said nothing to him and thought it would go over well on this website.
Also, looks to me like Russ Winger is poaching on the Willamette. You sure you don't want to pull those photos?
Cool project and I wish you'd have gone down to Rio to do something similar for the Games.

So no one was having sex at the Trials? Saving it for Rio? If so, what about the 90% that didn't make the team? Seems like they would have some frustrations to work out.

I hear ya guys and your point is valid. His cigarette ashes started to land on my lens and I let that slide. But once he started to convert meters to feet out loud, we let him be at peace with his cigarette. I mean it's not like he could smoke anywhere along the mighty Willamette and chose to sit 2 feet from us. Oh...
Joking aside it was all fine, we moved and he smoked to his heart's delight.

Thanks!! If you take a left leaving the hotel on Franklin BLVD and hop onto's Pre's Trail that way, you run under that, before crossing the bridge over the river.
