In the past month, as my mileage has been increasing, so has the plantar fasciitis. I've been rotating between 2 relatively fresh trainers, Nike Zoom elite 8s and Pegasus 33. The thing that seems to aggravate my foot the most is putting on the shoes. I don't mean wearing them for long periods of time or putting in mileage, I mean the INSTANT I slip my foot into the shoes, my PF starts hurting. I don't even have to stand up and put weight on them.
Unfortunately I have to wear them when I run, but as I begin to run, the pain lessens and eventually goes away pretty quickly. However, the instant I'm done running, I have to take them off. The PF flares up so badly that I cannot wear them during the car ride back from the trails. When I take them off, the pain is instantly relieved. Walking around the house barefoot, I feel fine. Walking around in my trainers destroys my feet. The only shoes I have that I can walk around in are my Chaco sandals.
Wtf is wrong with my shoes and feet? What's causing this? Any suggestions on how to fix this?
