no, i honestly have no idea what my mile PR is, as i havent run a times mile since, oh, 8th grade maybe. My 400 PR is about 51, 800 pr is about 2:05, and my recent times are 54, and 2:12 and i haven't trained since last may; just entered myself in some meets over the winter.
My reason for the question is i figure someone who's running in the 5s as a freshman prolly hasn't run too much before that, but is in really good shape (natural ability, soccer, something else..) and then once they really focus on track they drop times quickly (well, over 4 years). I kind of feel like im in the same situation - i havent run in about a year, but I'm in very good shape from a winter and this spring of cycling. Once i start training in May, i just want to know what my long term goals should be, within reason.
