Here I was thinking she was like crazy short. I mean she's short but not child-sized (compared to the other women in the race).
Also she had a stress fracture and people on here were shouting about Anorexia smh.

do you not understand that being malnourished can lead to poor bone density?

You ARE aware that being anorexic is a massive risk factor for stress fractures, right?
She does not look anorexic to me (and I ran D1 with many teammates who were). She just looks like she has a small build and I think always has. Her face is full (not hollowed sunken cheeks you see with those who have ED). And yes she had a Sfx, but that is not always due to poor diet. Training factors and biomechanics can play a role. If she was anorexic I doubt she would have pulled off a 15:20 something race that she ran today with just 5 or so weeks of training.

She looks healthy in the face and proportions, and importantly hasn't lost significant weight on her rise through the ranks. In a short time she has gone from HS national class (but not champion) to national class open, probably at lest a minute improvement in 5K fitness, and yet looks the same as before. My verdict is: healthy small person.

I agree with this except that she was a national champion in HS - NXN champion in 2014.
If you have never seen her in person then please stop talking. Tv naturally adds 10 pounds to body's anyways (from peeps exited) I was at Washington and saw her 2 feet away. She's tiny and anorexic.
Message for everyone: Please remember that you can't tell if someone has an eating disorder based on what their body looks like, it's a MENTAL illness.
The only physical trait you need for anorexia is to be underweight, which Allie clearly is.
I'm not confirming nor denying that she has an eating disorder, because there is no way anyone online could do that without actually knowing her. Threads like these do more harm than good.
Thanks.
