There were many people who didn't have the standard in the 10000 and nobody, aside from Rupp, pushed the pace. I think Lagat has a very good chance to win this race. I don't think Rupp wins unless he makes it a 13 flat pace. If I had to pick between Lagat and the field, I'd pick the field, but I think Lagat's chances to win are just as high as anyone.

I'm sure Rupp wouldn't mind winning but do you think it's possible he is mostly trying to help get Jenkins on the team while also getting a workout in? That's what they were doing in the 10,000 so why wouldn't they be doing that in the 5,000. Just a thought.
