Absolutely destroyed the field, Rupp doesn't feel heat. So much carnage!

Really was an impressive performance. To put so much distance on Kipchirir in the last 150, particularly after a somewhat fast second 5k, and beating fourth place by 50 seconds...he's fit. He's going to get a medal.
Amen. The guy's tough as hell and as consistent as a clock. Yet Letsrun hates him for it. Go, Rupp!
He looked phenomenal out there!! All i hear is crickets from the Rupp haters.

Yep lol I love it! Tryna find that guy who guaranteed rupp wouldn't make it or he wouldn't be on here for two weeks.
Considering what Rupp can do in the 5,000, 10,000, and marathon, he is probably the best distance runner in the world right now. He totally tempoed that race tonight, toyed with the field, and did it all in 82 degrees...wihile nearly everyone else was wilting or DNFing.
The guy is impressive to watch. I wish he would race a bit more but he seems to do well with huge blocks of training, which is key for the marathon I suppose.
There's already a post on the official OT thread saying that it looks like the 2nd guy let up and let Rupp pass him on purpose. Jealousy makes people say the dumbest sh!t.
I applaud Kipchirchir, that was a bold race he ran. Truly in the spirit of Prefontaine and leaving it all on the track. He couldn't stand up after finishing. So we know that took some serious balls to stick with Rupp and then go for the win in the last lap.
So who is Rupp's "doctor"? You know he can't be clean.
I thought we agreed after the Stumptown 5K last week that Rupp was "DONE?" lol
Agreed. Chir-Chir laid it all out. Unlike our embarrassing cadre of native born runners falling out everywhere or finishing in 29-30 mins. Ridiculous. And CONGRATS to Dan Browne and the WCAP. Obviously running a great program. People arent' giving him enough credit here.
That's nice, but nobody can prove Rupp is clean. The facts are obvious
Rupp getting mostly support on a LR thread. Never thought I'd see the day. Cool stuff!
Ummmmm doofus,
Think about your HS post.
'Nobody can prove he's clean'
Seriously?
Don't spend your life trying to impress a brojo....
Great victory for the field of endocrinology and creative ethicists all over the world tonight

Rupp is the man. If it wasn't for him, we'd still be waxing nostalgic about the last relevant Americsn born distance guy - (insert name here... NO ONE in the last 20 yrs)

Wow, I am reminded of many of those Chuck Norris sayings:
- "Chuck Norris doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants."
- "Death once had a near-Chuck Norris experience."
-"Some magicians can walk on water, Chuck Norris can swim through land."
Kudos to Rupp.
Rupp just toyed with the field! You know... like a doper!!!
