His "medical exemption" has probably already been approved by the Jamaican Olympic Committee (or whatever they call themselves). Heck it was probably approved the second he mentioned he was slightly injured before the trails. No reason to risk your best runner, the worlds best 100m and 200m runner and global superstar in a meaningless trials. Save him for your biggest stage.

Isn't an AQ for winning last time, or does that only work for WC's? There should be no issue of replacing him, they either get 3 or 3 + Bolt.
