So excited for her!

Wonder how she will end up doing.

Probably not in top shape, but I don't blame her, the experience of being in the Olympic Trials must be unreal, I would go for it
Glad to see this. Did we ever hear what the injury was that sidelined her?
In which trails will she be running?
Not that I know of...
She has declared for the race (which has heats).
Allie made quite the comeback in NCAA XC after her Brooks PR injury that made her miss the 2mile. Hopefully she can do the same here and get a solid run in the trials. Will be rooting for her!
Even if she is still recovering, she should go experience the process and atmosphere. Just hope she doesn't needlessly push too hard and re-injure whatever ails her over the next couple of weeks.
Does this mean she is skipping Mt Marathon on July 4?
shes hot
Allie is my absolute dream girl
Another young woman/teenager suffering the effects of over training. It's a shame that in order to be good you have to push yourself to the absolute limit but not cross the line.
Another LR aficionado making claims about a young runner without really knowing anything about him or her.
No kidding. Who the hell are you to say she can't handle her training, especially when you don't even know what it is?
Seeing female runners, and especially skinny ones, as mentally and physically fragile headcases is sexist and idiotic.
Trolling for dollars... wrote:

Some idiotic man-made synthetic oval trail with lines painted on it to produce multiple trails in a very small area that is usually treeless and devoid of any shade or beauty.
Jim Walmsley needs to get the WS100 record before Allie puts it out of reach.
Won't lie was sad when she picked Boise State over Oregon but will be pulling for her none the less. Also I think she is beautiful good luck to her

Allie O should have picked Willamette and run with her sister Taylor!
digression...
If anyone out there wants to run for a good D3 school Willamette has a great distance coach and, similar to Eugene which is an hour drive away, many miles of woodchip trails and river bicycle paths. It's the D3 equivalent of running for University of Oregon.
+1. World Class Pinot to boot.

Guess it was something with her knee. Not sure on the specifics.

Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
