I've been at altitude for 1-2 weeks, and am still trying to adjust. Everything is hilly around here but I found one run that has some uphill the first 2-3 miles, and then a mix of uphill and downhill inclines, but more downhill inclines than up. I was struggling to get in 10+ runs with the altitude/hills but am now able to manage it and actually feel like I'm running fast again.
Is there any harm in doing this run 2-3x a week for some of my weekly longer runs for the time being, even if its a little easier? I would throw the regular hill routes (which would be running up one way and then back down) too later on.
