So im currently a triathlete and training 30 hours a week which includes 60 miles of running. However, whenever I run medium effort my feet begin to get really aore by my toes. It feels like the shoe may be too narrow.

Try running without the insoles. Removing the insoles will change a standard width shoe to a wide width shoe.
New Balance sites come in multiple widths.
+1 for New Balance shoes..up to 4E in the Zante and other models. Altra has zero drop shoes that come wide standard...try the "One" or "Instinct" models. I believe Nike also has some widths available in the Pegasus, LunarTempo, Vomero and Free models. If you're into minimalist shoes then Vivobarefoot makes super wide shoes w/ 3mm soles.
Only downside is that most shoe stores don't have the wide versions available so you can't really try them on before you buy. Being a triathlete I would err on the too wide side since you will be running coming off the bike and your feet will have swelled significantly.
Skechers are relatively wide. Are you sure the shoes aren't too short? Try these steps.
Try a half size larger shoe.
Remove the inserts. If you need arch support, use an aftermarket half length insert. This is make the shoe feel noticeably wider in the toebox.
Wear really thin socks... as in tissue paper thin.
Skip the bottom two eyelets for the laces. This is let the shoe expand more in the toebox when your foot strikes.
Try the GoRun Ride model. It's a tad wider than the GoRun.
