Hi guys!
I ran 15x400m on road with 60 sec rest and averaged 78 sec/400m. It was pretty windy. What can I run a 5k? Is sub 17 min possible?

I'd say 18:xx.
Why ask? Will someones response make the difference between trying and not? There are plenty of training calculators that can tell you.
What's possible depends on your background/training....duh.
You want a goal? 17 minutes. There.
Your workout paces should be determined by recent race times, not the other way around. Also, 15x400 off a minute rest is kind of a dumb workout.
15x 400 is a fine workout. If you wore racing flats, 17' is a good 5k goal.
i did 12 x 400 in 74-75, last one 67 with last 200m in 31 seconds. equal rest.ran 16:07 on a windy day road race. 30-35 miles per week. 10 miles longest run of weeki think you can run under 17 if the workout was done under control and it didn't feel strenuous until the last 3-4 repsif you were grinding the entire time, hard to say

I do think that sub 17 is possible. Road 400s are usually going to be slower without the same timechecks and flat, predictable surface. What could you run for a 400m now?
I ran under control. I was feeling fresh every rep. Also I thought I had one rep left but my Garmin fooled me. I ran in Adidas Adios Boost 2 (8.4 oz)
I run approx 35-38 mpw.
16:30 is a good target for you
